Talkaoke is a unique and brilliantly entertaining way to get people talking to each other – in any situation. Since 1997 Talkaoke has inspired passionate conversation at gallery openings, networking events, brainstorming sessions, launches, club nights, glitzy conferences and down-to earth street festivals.
Who Talkaokes?
Talkaoke has recently been used as a way to have open, people-led conversations by organisations such as Tate, NESTA, The Prince’s Trust, Make Your Mark Campaign, Arts Catalyst, and The Dana Centre to name just a few. Having worked for almost every London borough in the past, Talkaoke is currently working with Southwark council on an ambitious borough-wide citizen-led communication programme for 2009.
Talkaoke hire includes:
- Talkaoke host and cameraman
- The Talkaoke table, with built-in PA system, battery power and lighting
- Single screen, projector or plasma screen
- Chairs, music etc.
- Public liability and all other relevant insurances
- transport (free within the M25 – 75p/mile outside)
