Talkaoke returns to the Boi Lit festival, East London’s late literary celebration of Bangladeshi New Year.
As usual, the table gathered an interesting and mixed crowd of East Enders, all keen to have their say around the table of chat. Some of the sponteneous poetry recitals almost broke the ‘no singing’ rule, but we allowed it as that was half the point of the event.
