STREAM & SHOUT

Stream & Shout will complement pupils’ studies in key curriculum areas, raising awareness of career opportunities in the region’s creative industries. The projects will offer pupils the chance to work collaboratively with artists and with each other, and to learn about technology in a highly creative way.

Check out the photos and the archived test broadcast from the FACT Centre on the 10th by seven pupils discussing STDs, losing weight, asylum seekers, funding the the third world, all while learning how to operate the Table of chat and be a Talk Show Host-just like Talkaoke’s own swivelly chairman, Mikey.

Then have a look at the photos from the big day and the archived stream from: Croxteth Community Comprehensive’s annual non competitive sports day at Wavertree Sports Centre brought to you by pupils themselves – no drinking, no fighting and no winning! sound familiar?

The People Speak, Liverpool is the launch project of STREAM & SHOUT July 2003 – December 2004, a web based rolling programme of artist led internet radio and MMS schools projects developed by FACT, Foundation for Art and Creative Technology, Liverpool.
