In association with ChewTV and with Martin, our young talented host, in the middle of the table Talkaoke was once again the lovely South West of England to find out what ideas young people had that could change the world. And in the settings of the beautiful Princess Pavilion in Falmouth we heard good ways, bad ways, crazy way and the down right bizzare ways to change the world.

The People Speak opens it’s doors to the public once again to find future budding Talkaoke hosts as well as improving the skills of already impressive current new hosts. Nuclear Talkaoke
November 14, 2008
3:00 pmto7:00 pm

Nuclear power is re-emerging as a concern for our times, both as a generator of energy and as part of a defence strategy. Today it seems to stand for the failed utopian promises of modernism and a fresh hope for a carbon-free future. The contradictions that lie at its core have provided a rich source of questioning for artists, scientists, ecologists and activists for many years.

The Nuclear exhibition explores these intricacies through two new commissioned works by Chris Oakley and Simon Hollington & Kypros Kyprianou.

To discuss the topic of nuclear power or anything that’s on your mind come down to Nicholls & Clarke building, 3-10 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6PG, 3 – 7pm

We will also be doing a quick session at the private view on 13th November 6 – 8.30pm.
