For the first time Talkaoke will be at ‘Late at Tate’, as part of the Great British Art Debate, talking about all things Art and all things not but it’s also a chance to discuss about some very pressing questions on art such as:

1. Is British Art a British fantasy?
2. Should the public have a say in what’s in museums?
3. Should Art be good for you?
4. Is Art too popular or not popular enough?
5. What does the Art of the past say about today?

Currently the times of the event are unconfirmed.

13th Anniversary Talkaoke
January 27, 2010
7:30 pmto10:30 pm

It’s the 13th Anniversary of Talkaoke! That’s right on this day 13 years ago the very first ever Talkaoke mobile talk show session took place in the vibe bar, brick lane. The table may have changed designs over the years but the concept hasn’t. And to mark this momentous occasion Talkaoke was in the Dragon Bar on Shoreditch High Street.

This video is a few snippets from the evenings session and, being a host training session as well, a few of the participants got their chance to ave a go in the middle of the table.

Anti-climate debt agents keep the table buzzing.

Talkaoke took to the streets of Copenhagen in the amazing Rådhuspladsen portakabin expo in the centre of town. While protesters tried in vain to storm the square, tourists, kids, activists, mums, dads, geriatrics and toddlers stopped by for a chance to speak their minds at the UFO of chat.

Watch live video from The People Speak! on Justin.tv

The show was run in Danish by the Talkaoke-DK team Pernille Kølbæk and Mette Kærgaard Hansen, with special guest host Erik Pold.
